Welcome to Hums of Faith Suris farm, located on 6.2 beautiful acres in northern Wisconsin, 30 minutes north of Green Bay, WI and 2 miles west of Oconto, WI.

We are dedicated to raising Suri alpacas using the Suri Network breeding standards. Our goals are to produce Suri alpacas that have high luster, heavy blankets and great conformation.  We want our females to be high milk producers and great mothers.  We look for our studs to be strong breeders.  Our goal is to have micron counts of 27 or less on 3 year olds.  We thoughtfully match our females with the best male to produce a cria meeting our expectations using skin biopsy information.

Our main focus is on quality and improving each generation.  We were fortunate to purchase the herd from Summer Hummer Camelids when they decided to concentrate on their Huacaya herd.  We where able to obtain some outstanding genetics having five children of LFA Accoyo Belmonte. We currently have 8 breeding girls, and 3 herdsires. Check out their skin biopsy results, you will be amazed at our 3 males’ densities.

We truly enjoy the daily experiences of working with our small herd and learning about these extraordinary animals and being able to share with other breeders, soon-to-be customers and friends.  We extend an open invitation to visit our farm.

We choose our name “Hums of Faith Suris” because the Suris hum and going into this venture, we are putting our faith in God to help us succeed.  We chose our slogan “Raising Alpacas with Faith, Hope and Love” because that is how we try to live or lives.  We believe in “giving back” and had been looking for a way to be good stewards of our land ever since we moved here.  Nothing really fit, until we discovered alpacas.  We both feel that this is what we want to do for the rest of our lives - Live here and raise Suris with Faith, Hope and Love.
